What subforums and catagories should there be, or should it be left till there's a bit more content so needs can be determined?

i realized it does not show italics when rendering (only shows in the editor) is there a way to italicize text?

test: this must be italic (using "em", automatic tagged by editor)

test: this must be italic (using "i", manually tagged by HTML editing, but then automatically converted to "em" by the editor)

IIRC Firefox doesn't render emphasis as italics by default it might still be showing on other browsers, not much can be done about it the admin panel won't let me fiddle with anything low level like cascading style sheets...

We have bigger problems though,

I have a suggestion for the organization of subforums:

1. Zizek by Concepts

2. Zizek and Philosophy

3. Zizek and Film

4. Zizek and Literature

5. Philosophy (in general)

6. Psychoanalysis (in general)

7. Politics and economy

8. Media Studies

and optional: "Science and Technology"

And one subforum where people could write randomly offtopic and so on (like chat subforum) - name it whatever you wish. It could be "Gulag", but if you wish you can leave "Gulag" for other things :D.

This is just a first draft. Feel more than welcome to discuss it so we can organize it in the best possible way.

Change the name of the forum? You will never get ppl with this one, only if you tell them to join. Maybe it should be something simpler that has Zizek in its name... With the one you have now the information you give to ppl is "Informal", nothing more :/
