The Library that Never Was

"In Queens, NY a sculpture artist has made an exhibition out of nothing. Agnieszka Kurant was inspired by “exformation” and the “the lost, imaginary, or ancillary material created by capitalism’s myriad productions.” If that sounds confusing, Hyperallegic will explain it all for you. But the important thing is Kurant has created a collection of once strictly-fictional books featured in the works of Kurt Vonnegut, Phillip K. Dick, Jorge Louis Borges, and others. Although there isn’t any text in the books, they each have an ISBN which makes them real enough for the authorities."
